Infantry
The British Commonwealth forces typically wore the same uniforms and equipment as each other, so our ranges cover the following: BEF are usable from 1939 to 1941 in Western Europe, principally for the Invasion of France. The Home Guard cover defensive forces in Britain from 1940 to 1942. The 8th Army was stationed in North Africa from 1940 to 1943, although troops in shorts were also found in Italy in 1943. They could be used in the Far East, but long trousers were favoured in the jungle. Airborne troops cover Western Europe from 1943 to 1945, being in smocks and brimless helmets. Slouch hat figures are for the Far East and generic types are suitable for Western Europe 1943 to 1945. All packs contain 10 figures unless stated otherwise.
