1879-1884 War of the Pacific
The War of the Pacific took place from 1879 to 1883, with Bolivia and Peru on one side and Chile on the other. The war ended with victory for Chile, which gained a significant amount of land from Peru and Bolivia. Battles were fought in the Pacific Ocean, the Atacama Desert, Peru's deserts, and mountainous regions in the Andes. For the first five months the war played out in a naval campaign, as Chile struggled to establish a sea-based re-supply corridor for its forces in the world's driest desert. Codes cover all nations except where specifically marked. Rules for this period can be found on Amazon.
