Bavarian
The Bavarian army had previously fought against the French, albeit reluctantly, but after an Austrian attack in 1805, they aligned with the French to reclaim Bavaria. After another Austrian attack in 1809, the Bavarians, this time as part of the Confederation of the Rhine, led the initial campaign and were instrumental in Napoleon's victory at Wagram.
